Monday: Olympic Opening Ceremony and Speed Pictionary

It was a beautiful day for the swim test!

This afternoon we played Ultimate Duck, Duck, Gray Duck.  It is similar to regular Duck, Duck, Gray Duck but instead of being individually in a circle, you are in lines.  When you line gets tagged, you all have to get up and race to get back to that line.  The last person sitting is it.

We had the Opening Ceremony of the Luther Dell Olympics today!  The campers and staff were divided into 4 nations who will be competing in different events throughout the week.

Today each nation decided on their name and some even came up with a cheer!

After the Opening Ceremony, we had our first Olympic event: Speed Pictionary.  The nations had to work their way through a list of camp related words, having one team member draw a word and the rest of the team having to guess.  The team that got through the most words at the end, won the most points for their nation.

Tonight we played Mighty Mighty Scoop Noodle Challenge!  We will include pictures and videos from that in a post tomorrow.
